How to enable Open AI bot

Step 1

Go to Helper>General>Bot features and Add Open AI from the list and press Save.

Step 2

Go to Helper>AI tab to paste your Open AI API key. Press Save

Step 3(go to step 5 if you want to use Assistant API)

To use the content of your site (posts, pages, products, etc.) for AI bot responses, specify the appropriate prompt types and their settings.

Note: The OpenAI API has limits on the text length that can be used by AI bots as context and depends on the OpenAI model you select. Read more here about the limits.

Step 4

Enter your Objective and Notice according to your needs. You can use different wording until the AI bot behaves in the way you want.

Step 5

To use the Assistant in the Helper, go to Helper>General>Personalities and add a new one by clicking on the Add bot personality button and fill all fields.

The Assistants API allows you to build AI assistants within your own instructions, models, and knowledge to respond to user queries. 

Note: To create a new personality with the Open AI Assistant type, you need to create the Assistant in your Open AI account first.
